My work wasn’t born in a tech bubble—it was born from my own real-world frustration.
Years ago, while running a restaurant, the creators of our booking software asked me for feedback. It hit me instantly: the people building the tool had zero experience in hospitality. Later, while working at a logistics startup, we struggled daily with off-the-shelf software that only fitted our needs "just enough." It wasn't until we threw out those generic tools and built our own custom software that our productivity entered a completely new league.
Those moments taught me two big lessons: generic software forces your business to compromise, and tech teams rarely understand the actual industries they serve.
When AI arrived and cut down development time and costs, it was an eye-opening moment for me. The old barriers were gone. I started offering custom software to give small and new businesses the same custom-built tools that massive corporations use, without the giant price tag or the corporate headache.
